Default dropped pitman arm nut size?

self explanatory, anyone know what size nut holds it on? I was just about to get started by pulling the tracbar off and realized my biggest sockets at 32mm and 1 1/4. And neither fit. The metric one almost goes all the way on, the standard one does not.

It is the size just bigger than what you have! Sorry but had to throw that in.

I think it is 1 5/16" Might be 1 3/8" Can not remember but been there too!

Don't know the nut size, but make sure you have a pitman arm puller. Good luck.

its a 33mm but if you go to your local Advance Auto Parts you can rent a 34mm from them and it works. They also have the pitman arm puller for about $15.

Yeah i ended up using a 34mm. I bought a Pitman arm puller for $6 at harbor freight tools.

Worked fine for me. Although the skyjacker pitman arm did not want to suck all the way up. Not sure why. Took it to my local 4wd store and they pulled the nut back off and used their air tools and had same result.
