Dual stabilizer or not?
Wobbles that occur only at cold temps sound like possible tire balance issues. True death wobble is normally track bar related and other wobbles are normally loose or worn out steering components. Steering stabilizers can mask issues and help with bump steer, but if you have issues that a dual stabilizer would in any way help, you'd be better off addressing the root causes.
Fwiw, I am taking it back to 4wp to look at a cam that looks like it moved out of place and to check the dust boot on one of the ball joints that has popped out. They did the work for these and so I will let them correct it. While I am in there anything I should ask them while they have it? Maybe ask them to check the balance again and the alignment again?
Just seems everyone has their own opinion about these damn things, "don't need em" - " buy a cheap one and replace it when it breaks" - "get the bilstein, it is cheap" - "get the relocate kit to get it up out of the way" .
So two days of reading and I still have no conclusion, so I am going to pay the extra $ and go with the RC dual stabilizer set up to hopefully mask some of my bump steer/slight wobble at 40 mph. All else fails and it is jewelry for my chassis I guess! : thumbsup:
