And to clarify, yes the system works perfectly fine on stock vehicles without any issue with the trackbar.

Forgot to add...sorry I couldn't help.
It's ok. Looks like I will have to have the tailpipe modified. If the post axle dropdown was about 2-3" shorter, so the pipe ran horizontally on the run to the tip instead of upwards towards the tip, it would give the clearance needed for axle trackbar brackets.

I can't see the reason why the pipe drops so low post axle and then angles back up towards the rear? If it was a flatter run along the tub to the tip then it would work.

It is to maintain clearance at the swaybar location and promote manufacturability. When you are using a horizontal mandrel bender, you need to have at least 1" straight distance between bends.

With that in mind, I can see the response, "well why don't you make a tigheter bend after the 'over the axle' bend?"

The answer: when you bend one pipe, you don't use multiple different bend radii, especially in aftermarket. We do it in OEM applications occasionally for extremely tight packaging, but it is NOT cost effective to the OEM, and therefore would not be cost effective to the end user (you) for aftermarket applications. It bends the entire pipe in one machine operation (not all bends at once, they are in series, but one setting by the operator and one program). He (or she) puts the pipe on the bender and hits the "go" button. If you were to change the bend radius, you would have several complications:
  1. There would be a need for multiple bend programs
  2. The operator would have to change the tooling to a smaller radius and back to the larger after one pipe
  3. The operation would increase in time (slowing production, costing more $$)
  4. Tooling cost increases because now you have multiple bend radii

Hopefully this clears things up for you a little.

Well Imposter, it looks like I may be eating cake and I owe you an apology. I was curious how close the trackbar would get on full stuff, so I took another ride today to a bigger hill.

On this hill I got just about full stuff on the driver rear and it looks like although the wheel travels higher maybe 2" than in my previous pics, the trackbar bracket doesn't follow the wheels path upwards to go much deeper. I forgot my tape, but with less than 1" of full stuff I would say still had about that same 3" clearance...

Pretty much full stuff on my tire...

Maybe 3/4" left to metal on metal bumpstops...

Looks like I still have those same 3" between the trackbar and the exhaust. I wish I had remembered my tape but it was probably the clearance I need...

No need to really raise your trackbar up at all..... First I'd get rid of the TF drop bracket, then I'd just get the JKS Readr Adj. Trackbar and the JKS Trackbar Brace, weld it on and call it a day.

Glad you got it figured out . No apologies are needed dude!

We have still heard of issues with clearance with relocation brackets...so be watchful of it.

Has anyone had any issues with evap skids using this exhaust? This is the sole reason why I dont have this kit yet. I have a rugged ridge evap skid and don't know if the muffler will clear the skid. It does look far enough forward, although? Anyone know if I will be good?

Thanks! I priced everything out to just order the muffler and have it done custom and it was at the same price as the kit. You just spent $375 of my money!!!! Thanks again!
