Default E-Brake cable question

07' Unlimited w/ 6" lift using JKS adjustable control arms. Passenger side e-brake cable will be stretched beyond max if I allow full flex due to the fuel tank.

So until I can come up with a solution I'm running shorter shocks which of course limits our flex.

Any suggestions?

And yes the tub bracket was removed long ago

just unbolt the e-brake bracket and let it hang. It will not go anywhere and should be fine for years.

I see you said you already unbolted your bracket. I did the same thing but also rerouted the e-brake lines underneath the fuel filler tube so they would not get hung up when flexing.

Yup, unhook the cables and run them under that cross member, I re-bolted mine to the underside of that cross member
