Default EGR valve block off

Does anyone have an experience with shut-down EGR valve?

Your thread title suggests you are thinking of disabling or blocking off your EGR system.
You would have to come up with a way to fool the computer into thinking the EGR system is functioning properly. This is how it checks the system on US JKs:
After the EGR monitor conditions are met, the EGR valve is turned on and off momentarily. The EGR monitor calculates the difference in engine roughness from the EGR off condition to the EGR condition. This engine combustion stability difference as measured by engine roughness is the measure of a functional EGR system.

No,my EGR works well but I don´t like EGR system in cars. It´s like eat my own sh*t. And I think also,it steal a power.

I've been thinking not just unplug conector(I know,it is controled by computer) ,but put in some block off plate betveen EGR and tube.

If you read post #3, you will see the computer knows if the EGR is working or not. I don't mean just opening and closing. It knows whether or not it is actually feeding EG into the intake.
Therefore, if you block it off, it will throw a code and turn on the MIL. The code will most likely be P0401.

I was thinking that, also. It's real nasty for diesels. I am waiting to see how the ultra low sulphur diesel works in keeping the intake clean on my VW TDI.
