My brother has an 07 Sahara that he put an electronic sway bar in from an 08 rubi. He had the little pod in the inside center console and added the new wire harness from Quadratec. However it is still not working (and yes it was working before he bought it). Does anyone know if we are missing something for it to work (I.e maybe going to dealership to reprogram computer)? I did ask someone at the jeep dealership but they know. . Any suggestions??

 

he should have just bought some quick disconnects, those electronic rubi ones can be a PITA

 

If the installation is such that it is now like the OEM installation, the feature needs to be activated. The dealer can do it, and I think some of the after market programmers can do it.

 

He has the superchip but I haven't looked to see if that would work. Anyone know?

 

IF all else fails,,,, then you can get that manual knurl knob thing that is sold so all you have to do is screw the knurl knob in and it will disconnect, after whelelin, while airin up, screw it back out, it will lock, done.

 

Does dealership sell knurl knob?

I am very happy with the EVO no limits "upgrade"!

 

I added one to my X. If it is wired correctly it will work. The programming only enables the dash indicator light. You need to wire it like the accessory part not he factory part.
