My element 4x4 doors came today.....In a BIG BESTOP box??

I really thought they were made by someone else. Not complaining b/c they fit great but I was really surprised when UPS handed me a Bestop box. One plus that I did not know is that they are made to accept a besttop upper as well. So now I have tube doors for off road, pockets and canvas for daily, hard shells that bolt on to make 1/2 doors and any of the conversions can have the uppers!!!

That's the TJ version of the same door.


Highrock is just a different "line" of products made by Bestop.

I really wanted these instead of the 2 piece soft doors, but I didn't know if/when they'd ever be released and if they'd release a compatable upper and enclosure any time soon.

Do you have the enclosures and/or upper windows?

Awesome....i like 'em a whole lot better with the pouches on the inside....all of the pictures i've seen they were on the outside...looks good!

Those look really great! IIRC, a while back someone received those same doors and they did not strike the latch correctly. Did you have any problems?

X2 on turning the pockets inside. The catalog pic's with them on the outside look .. well .. goofy.

 

I will take some pics without the fabric when I get off work tonight. I had no problems with the install. The latches lined up great, to get it perfect I shut and latched the door before fully attaching the handle. I like the pockets on the inside better also. I thought that they put them on the outside in the advertisments just to show what it looks like. If I am on a trail maybe I will put them out to hold stuff but most of the time mine will be on inside.
I did not buy the enclosures b/c I only bought these as summer doors. But now that I know they accept uppers......I might just buy the other parts so I have a full set of functional 1/2 doors.
