Default Element doors

Does anyone have the Element doors on their JK? If so, any problems with them?

I want them too! I had them on my old TJ and they were great. Once I get some extra cash I know I'm going to purchase them. Just buy them. You won't regret it.

I have them. A bit disappointed. First saw them advertised on a large poster on the wall
at 4WheelPars. Noticed how they had a built in step at the bottom on the front ones.
But.....when they arrived there was no step. Also noted in their small folded brochure that
was included in the box, the front ones did show a step. Called Bestop. Poor customer
service. When I asked, I was told the JK ones were never intended to have a step.
Even though the poster and brochure both had JK's with the step. Lady was very rude
and treate me has if I was the one "off base". 4WheelParts gave me $50 gift card since
they argreed product was misrepresented on poster and brochure. My other concern is there
is now way to lock them, since they are so easy to lift off and steal. (latch lock would not
prevent someone from ripping them off)

I have them with the outer panel and the uppers w/ flexivents.

pros
easy to throw in the back
keeps a downpour off u
not 500lbs
they look cool

Cons
takes a while to fit them so you can do 65 without flapping
passanger upper rod fitment issue others have this problem too
rust
they leak
need maybe double the amount of weather striping to close up the bottoms

would I buy them again? yes do I love them even though of the cons? yes are they for everyone? NO
they arent perfect but there great just to pop off during the summer and throw in the back.
