Default Emergency brake help please

Trying to install a lift and I am wondering whats the easiest way to disconnect the emergency brake cable from the rear drums and axle brackets so I can reroute them to below the frame cross member.

Superlift says to reroute your e brakes under frame crossmember...or should I not worry about it.

I'm not sure whats invovled with disconnecting them from the rear brakes, but without looking at anything first, i would guess its easier to disconnect them from the e-brake handle side. There is usually a bracket designed in there somewhere for taking the slack out of the e-brakes, that would prolly be the easiest point if thats how its setup. good luck

I just removed the bracket that held mine to the underside of the body tub. They seem to have plenty of slack and they don't get in the way of anything still.

How tall is this lift? If it's only 3", I can't see why you would need to do this.
