I have a 2007 with 107000 mi and its been making some noises lately .. So I have been searching a bit to see what I might do if (when) it craps out. Would love to do an LS swap, but don't see that happening .... Will a 2008-11 engine/trans swap into my 07? I have searched a bit and it looks like the 07 is its own creature? Any info would be great ..... Thanks

Yes I think 07-10 will work I am starting to look around my self I have 135k what prices are you seeing ? If you don't mind me asking

 

I put a 2011 engine in my 2007. No issues at all. Somewhere in there they changed the wire harness plug so you have to pull the harness off your 07 to use withe the new engine, that's only a twenty minute job though.

Screemin lizard and trailjeeps. Both were very helpful when I was looking for my engine. Both were giving me very fair prices, hardest part was shipping it. Find someone with a commercial dock and fork lift and it will save a ton and make life easier.

 

So far I have seen $1800.00 to $3000.00 before the shipping ...
