ESP BAS Lights Stay On
I added cruise control last night and after I reconnected the battery the ESP BAS lights stay on. Do I need to get the computer flashed? I didn't see anything in the instructions that said I have to get the computer flashed after the install.
I am going on a trip this weekend and need to know if I have to get this fixed before I leave or can I drive with these lights on. I read in the manual and it said it needs to get fixed but it didn't say it would cause any damage.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Have you driven at all since the install? Last night, I work on the clunky steering and when I put the steering shaft back in and started the motor, those damn lights were on. I was pissed. After racking my brain and checking all of the steering alignment and steering wheel, I decided to drive it around the block. When I started backing out of the garage, the lights went off and haven't come back on. The only issue was, I severed the driver's side airbag, because I didn't secure the steering wheel while tweaking the shaft. Drive a short drive.
I have had the lift on for a couple months with no issues. The issue didn't show up until after I installed the cruise control. I have driven it and I have disconnected the battery a couple times as well. As far as I know I put everything back on the way it was suppose to be after the cruise control install.
