Don't know dude, You can see the brake light was on when I shifted to Drive from Reverse and it lunged forward. Glad it stopped when it did. Could you imagine if it didn't? He11 of a ride to the bottom.

Update: I just returned from lunch and completed the ESP disable, took em three tries but that's cause the first time I couldn't turn the wheel (stupid oversized shoes), and the second time I just don't think I did it correctly. But hey it's simple and works... Thanks again!

The instructions in post 2 of this thread worked first try on my 11 mojave. When I cycled to the on position I started it, worked great and easy to turn the tires....
Thats good thread digging, lol.

Why don't you just press the "ESP OFF" button after start up. My experience with it was when I was stopped, and when I went to make a hard left across traffic. I gunned it and cranked the steering wheel hard to the left, and went until I was in front of oncomming traffic and lost engine power and felt like the brakes came on.

Now, I just push the ESP OFF but after start up and all is good! Can go spin the tires in the dirt, snow, etc.. Am I missing something?

It's not completely off that way. I did the ESP kill switch mod.

I read that pulling the fuse screws with the ABS operation. The steering wheel dance is easy...I just did it last night. Disables ESP, erm, and traction control...bas and ABS still function though.

No problems just lights on the dash. Come drive it for yourself.
