I chased my light problems for over a year before I finally had enough the code that it was showing was for the left side U0417 I believe so after checking everything (I thought) I replaced both sensors on the left side to no avail finally I decided I was going to follow the rear wire all the way up front 2 minutes into looking I found the loom crushed 6 or 7 inches from the sensor opened the loom to find both wires crushed and barely hanging on I still cant figure out how they got crushed it was in a spot where nothing comes in contact with it so I cut the wires back a little and put in some heat shrink barrel crimps and replaced the crushed loom ten minutes worth of looking and fixing solved the problem I was super stoked that I actually found this it has been driving me insane for a year I should have inspected the wiring first but no I have to learn everything the hard way

Mine was like that for 3 years. Nothing solved the issue. I have a kill switch but cant stand the idiot lights on dash.

So a couple of weeks ago i rotated my tires in the driveway. Checked my psi in my tires and noticed the centers were wearing out. Dropped the psi down to 26 on front and 27 rear.

Now my traction light hasnt come on once. Even in fast hard turns.

OP, tell us more about your suspension setup. This shouldn't be an issue if things are set up right.

3-1/2" rough country lift... 35" tires. Not sure what else I can tell you. The ESP issue is intermittent and only occurs on hard turns or when slowing down on sharp corners. It seems once it goes off most sharp corners will do it.

Did you reprogram tire size in the computer?

I know how you feel man. especially curved on ramps. I tried everything from reprograming speedo to adjusting drag link to center the steering wheel and upgrading new front end parts. Nothing solved the issue till I deflated my tires and rotated them. Its either that or my nitro shocks helped.

OP, did that RC kit include a track bar tower for the rear axle? Reason I ask, every time I've chased this issue down I have been able to eliminate it by correcting the roll center with a rear tower. I've also noted some of the rigs don't have their rear axles centered. You can usually correct that issue simply by adding a tower and choosing a hole that centers the axle. Front axle offset can also cause this issue but the rear seems to trigger it the most.
