ESP light keeps coming on after lift
For me the steering wheel adjustment alone didn't cut it -- you also have to have more or less the proper castor and make sure the track is good as well. It's all good now that I've sorted all that out though. Just drove 850 miles today (whew), lots of on/offramps, no issues whatsoever.
My brother and I just finished installing the FT 2inch BB. Looks about the I wanted it to with my 33 x12.50 Procomps. It wasn't to hard to install. On the way home the ESP light came on and I felt the ESP activating on left hand turns.
Quite an uptake, I then relized the stering wheel is turned 1/4 turn to the right. THe ESP/BAS light came on after that. He made a call to a friend that has an alignment shop and we'll get the alignment done on Monday Morning. Is there a bigger problem than I think or will the lights go out and the JK let me drive?:
I didn't feel the ESP activate after I turned it to partial off.

I just got a FT 3" Premium lift w/M-force shocks and 35s on my JK Unlimited and am having the same ESP issues. The jeep is undrivable on a mountain road and any road with soft mid-high speed turns. It really sucks, cause the brakes keep getting applied unless I am crawling around the turn.
I have had the JK back to the shop 3 times now with no improvement. The front axle is centered perfectly, alignment is done with 1/8" of toe in on the front, which the installer said, "is standard". Is that normal? We messed with the steering wheel center all three times and it seems almost perfectly centered.
The jeep is also very darty on the road. When I go over bumps or uneven pavement the Jeep tries to change lanes on its own. Lowering the tire pressure from 40psi to 35psi seemed to help the dartiness, but not the ESP problem. The Jeep was darty with the stock tires, so maybe putting on wider tires made it seem worse.
I just want to turn the damn ESP off. Anyone know if this is in the works or anything else I can try to solve the problem?

I simply straightend the steering wheel up by adjusting the turnbuckle on the steering arm as was noted in the write up for the installation of the 3" lift, this fixed it all and it drives as well as it did befor the lift. reas the 3" installation write up and make sure every thing is right. I went for a front end alignment and I neede no changes.
