the tire pressure seems to interfere with the esp on the jeep. from the tire shop the pressure was 40 psi. i just lowered it to 30 psi and took the jeep out for a quick spin and the esp only went off once. i will test drive it more this afternoon and report back.

Hmmm, interesting.. I'm running about 32psi, I'm gonna have to experiment with this.

If you are having a problem aligning the jeep with the wheels on, put the stock ones one to get it aligned and swap them afterwards. As long as all the tires are the size same (35s all the way around or stocks all the way around) the geometry will not change.

Can't help you on the other stuff.

First I would like to thank Wayoflife for spending his afternoon/evening helping me (or me helping him) put the rest of my Full Traction Control arms on my Jeep.

Well I went around the famous cloverleaf that used to activate my esp almost the entire way around. Putting on the adj front track bar, upper control arms, and taking off my hard top all played a roll in getting the esp to activate less, I feel. It would still go off on the final few yards of the turn before entering the freeway.

By adding the front lower arms and getting more caster, it has made the biggest difference. I went faster than I was able to before to see if I could get it to kick in and it never came on at all.

Granted I have only had one day to try it out, but I feel if that turn didn't activate it not many others would. I will keep trying to push it within reason to see if my esp issues have been totally resolved.

hey greystone,

i did get the clock spring and the esp is worse than ever. i called john at xtreme machine and told him that the jeep was no longer fun to drive. he said he would take care of me and ordered the teraflex 4 inch system with all of the adjustable brakets. it should be in next week. when it is here he is gonna swap out the lifts. hopefully this will help fix the esp problems. my bumpers arent in yet, so i will not be able to finsh all the mods until they get here.

have a good day,
john
