Default ESP problems with lift??????

I have a 4" Skyjacker lift with 35's, has anyone else found that the ESP activates on sharp turns????? I'm not sure if its the soft springs or the added tire size. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this also.

Very interesting but no, I have not heard of that one yet. Is it safe to assume that is the only time you get the ESP to come on and did you make sure to straighten your steering wheel after lifting it?

Does that kit come with a pitman arm? I spoke with one guy at SEMA that said that the position sensor is that sensitive in the steering box. Might try adding a pitman arm if it does not come with one.

No I dont have a drop pitman arm , but I did center the wheel. I''m not sure if a drop pitman would make a difference. I sure does look good though

I had that happen to me on my unlimited with a 2" bb . However it was an easy fix for me. I just had to adjust the steering wheel back to zero position . After a couple of tries , the ESP/BAS light goes out , the ESP does not engage any more and everything is like new again. oh, I did take it to the dealer to get the alignment checked out. Shop teck says everything is winhin spec.

So, how do you re-center the wheel?
