Default Evap canister concerns with muffler relocation???

I should have the Dynomax Ultra Flo welded 6" round (part #17230) arriving tomorrow. I sprayed down the hangers with some WD-40 in preparation for the install mid-pipe a la rockcrawler cat back system. My only concern is whether or not the tight squeeze between the frame and the evap can will have any negative effects on it due to heat. I assume it's good to go being Dynomax offers the cat back sysetm, but wondering if anyone else has had any issues?

You can always relocate the canister.

relocate the evap canister to above the rear axle.

$30 at your local Auto store should take care of the fittings/ hose.
You can use the factory bracket too. you just have to modify it and drill through the tub in the back, 4 bolts, some RTV and your done.

It only took me about an hour once I had the parts.

I was looking at how to do it while I was underneath spraying the hangers. I've read that it can throw codes though if the hose lengths are changed. Is that true?

Disconnect the battery while relocating. I extended mine using the Rock Hard kit without issue.

I might have to put the brakes on the Dynomax install and look at doing the evap can relo first. Too much to do and too little time. If only days were 36 hrs long.

I didn't bother relocating mine with that kit. If there was a clearance issue, I sure didn't notice it.

It's best to relocate it if you can because I tried keeping it close to the relocated muffler adding a heat shield which over time failed to provide the coverage needed and I burned two holes in the evap and had to have it replaced.
