Default Evo vs MC

So I use my jeep mostly for overland excursions but do venture into the rocks every now and then. Which coils? 4" Evo plush ride or 3.5" Metal Cloak?

This thread should stir it up some. I'd expect most people to say EVO as they are more popular. I have MC but don't have any experience with EVO so I can't compare the two. Hopefully someone who has ran both will chime in.

What are your feelings on you MC? I see you have the 3.5 game changer lite? coils.

I went from the Currie 4" springs to the EVO 4" springs and have been running the EVO springs for a year as the JK is my DD. I have no complaints about the EVO springs.

Love it so far. It's their full kit minus the six pack shocks. I couldn't justify the extra money they want for those shocks. A few people drove my jeep and said it was the best riding jeep they've been in.

I can only compare to my old 2.5" TF coil lift with Bilsteins and well the MC blows it away.

Do you tow anything? How much did the Evo coils sag when loaded? I don't plan on towing things on a regular basis but I do tow occasionally. I have just heard the Evo, being so soft, sometimes sag under load. My understanding is that the MC coils will hand the weight better and not sag as much. Do you have some side shot pics?

The good thing about the EVO coils is that they have the amount of lift listed after settling. Most lifts say 4" then settle to 3 or 3.5 inches. Evo says 4 and is 4" after settling. And they are really soft.

I don't think the MC will settle... but I do not know for sure.

evo springs are linear like OEM springs and that sucks... don't buy stock like coils. either buy progressive or dual progressive such as MC.
