Default Expedition One Sliders/Rocker Guards

I'm considering a set of Expedition One rocker guards. Unfortunately, I cant find any real good information on the web or forums. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking for something that will provide protection and serve as a step for the youngest son and wife...

Also, if there is another direction I should look, please advise...I'm a newbie and it's my daily driver, so I'm building mostly for overland/moderate trails. Of course...while I really don't see any serious crawling in my future, you never know...

I have LOD. Fair price, adds a step still good clearance and I've beat them up. No durability issues.

I'll pile on with Wrangler X. I'm running LOD sliders and have used them as sliders. Very solidly built.

I'll add that they offer a zinc primer powdercoat... it's really good! Not as good as my local guy but it lasted a long time.

Ok, it seems like this is a strong LOD crowd! Thanks for your replies! Does anyone have experience with Ex 1's?
