Default Experience with TrXus A/T Tires

Anyone have any experience with the Interco TrXus all terrain tires? I'm looking for me a nice all terrain that will do decent on trails, but also will hold up to street wear. I was also looking at the Pro Comp Xtreme A/T tires & I see they hold up for 40,000 + miles supposedly. I'm wondering if the TrXus A/Ts can run with that.

These tires work well for me for the granite in AZ and CA and the slickrock in Moab. They do require a good rotation schedule otherwise they tend to get loud. I think they look really aggressive and I constantly get compliments and questions as to what tires they are. They are a softer compound and if you do a lot of wheeling they will need replacing at about 30k. The larger they are they longer they last. The only other tire I have to compare them to are the MTR's and I found the TrXus to be superior.

Definately the looks are one of the things I like about them.

I'm on my second set of TRXUS. I run them on my F250. I got about 50k mi out of the 1st set. (36 x 14.5) I got em because they were load range E and they are great in the sand. No rocks here in FL. Keep 'em rotated, they get louder as they get older.

About how many miles would say until they started getting noticeably loud? You must be satisfied if your getting your second set.

Even though they are heavily siped for a MT, you can get them additionally siped and this will reduce the noise.

But to answer your question, they should be rotated with at least every other oil change and if there is no wheeling involved, they tend to get loud at about 25k.
