The northridge kit is very nice hardware, they use a thick washer and one of the nicest bolts I have ever seen.

Buying grade 8 bolts is hardly "cheaping out." Northridge may have a nice kit but they surely aren't magic bolts.

i am an industrial mechanic and worked for cat before both places get all there grade 8 bolts from the same place fastenal. The machines i work on throw out around 1200 diapers a minute and we use fastenal bolts to hold the 300 to 600lb rollers turning at over 3000 rpm together so i am rather confident that the fastenal bolts will be good quality seeing that in the past 17 years i have never seen anything hit the floor because of poor bolt quality. i found a list gave it to the regular fastenal guy at the plant he brought me everything on the list plus a couple extras and a bill for $7.89. i would be happy to buy from northridge if i didnt have access or knowledge on this type stuff. i do have alot to learn about jeeps but alot of really good products get horribly bashed on all forums. the main reason is they are not sponsers so if anyone sees something and starts researching these forums are great but also check outside them to make sure there not just getting bashed because there the wrong name brand.
