Question Fairlead question

Is there any problem with running a Hawse fairlead on a steel cable? I've seen several people doing it, and I plan on replacing the line/fairlead over time. I just didn't know if there were any use issues to doing it piecemeal.

thanks!

Same here. I have a Hawse on my 95 YJ that's well used and I've never had any problems.
