Confusing phrasing of the question. You have the towbar and are wanting to DIY a baseplate for the jeep? You just have the factory front bumper on the jeep? If so, some reason you don't just buy the matching baseplate for the towbar? If you have an aftermarket bumper, typically just easiest to hook straight to that.
