A TF 2.5" spacer gives 2.5".
A TF 2.5" coil gives 3-3.5" (depending on model/extra weight added/etc)

Don't assume that you will not need/want any modifications at 2.5". It is just less likely at 2.5" than at 3.5".

Once the lift is on, find someplace close to flex it and check for coils that are over-compressing, brake lines that are stretched too tight, tires that are rubbing fenders, driveshaft clearance, etc. Also, notice that neither of those kits address the low caster you will have after the lift. It will be your personal opinion/preference, but if you find that the handling is too flighty, you will probably want to consider a set of front adjustable control arms.

Also, don't assume that you will need more components with any particular lift height. (I have been at 4" for about a year and a half on stock driveshafts, though control arms were a must for me.)

All good suggestions so far, you will be fine with 35's with the TF coils and the kit includes bump stops so you shouldn't rub at all on full compression. I have a 2" OME coil lift that nets about 3" in lift and fit 35's with no issues at all.

I would however highly recommend front lower control arms to adjust the front caster. If you don't you will have a caster setting of around 2 degrees after the lift and will have sloppy, flighty steering. Add the control arms and adjust front caster to around 6 degrees and you will have better handling than stock. You will probably be looking to upgrade your gears to 4.88 or more after adding the 35's so start budgeting the additional $1500 as soon as you finish the lift and tires.
