Default Fender Flares

I am considering fender flares as a way to clear either 33's minimal suspension mod or 35's with an OME 2" lift. I was wondering what the options are and most importantly if anybody has some pictures of their JK with them. I have seen a few pictures of a few different types of flares but would like to see some more. Xenon flares look like pretty good but would like to see them on a different jeep. Thanks for the help.

You don't need new flares to clear 33s, and 35s will work with a 2" BB.
Quadratech has pictures of the flat Xenon flares in their latest catalog. I don't know if anyone has actually bought a set though, because nobody here has mentioned them.

35's will rub big time if you off road with a 2" BB.

Fitting and using are 2 different things.

Default FEnder Flaires

I went to pick up my new rims and tires yesterday. 20" Moto Metal w/ 35s and they fit BUT rubbed on the inside on front and back. I got 1 1/2 spacers coming on Tuesday. I will take a picture and let you know how they roll.....

There is a forum member running the xenons flatties, 36s and no lift.

P14 of this thread.

I'm waiting to see what the PJ flatties are going to cost, but IMO taking a stock jk, and throwing on the xenons and being able to run 36s with no lift while keeping a low COG. Im suprised more people havnt done it yet.

Thanks for all of the good info. Since this is my DD/ only vehicle I really like the idea of running larger tires with the lower center of gravity. I am also really looking forward to the pure jeep flares. Also has anybody seen if poison spider or rev111 have come out with flare. I've been to their website and have not gotten much info. If anybody has some pics or info on when we can expect them to be available that would be much appreciated.

Yeah they dont have any information because I imagine they are still trying to figure out how to attach a big beefy tube flare to the flimsy flange on the front fenders of the JK. All those companies make TJ front fenders but I think this is much more difficult to design...

I`m planning on going with the xenon flatties myself.Lots of people think that the steel tube fenders are so much better, but what they don`t seem to realize is that you can make a bullet proof fender like poison spyders etc.,but the stock JK sheet metal wont hold up IMO if the tube fenders were to to get pushed up against a rock or tree. What do you think is gonna give,a hard inanimate object-a steel tube fender-or thin sheet metal?I would rather have a plastic tube fender and have it crack or ripped off rather than have some seroius body damage.
