Default Finally got new gears!!!!!

Just picked up my jeep & I can tell I am really gonna love my new 5.13 gears once the break in period is over.
I went w the 5.13 bc I will eventually go from 33's to 35's. So far so good...love em! Best mod yet! Should hv done sooner.

ps...Should I not go in any mud at all for 500 miles, bc I hunt and tis the season? I wouldn't think this would hurt
anything but I'd like to hear from others. Thanks in advance.

You think you love it now...skip the 35's and go with 37's.

I'd baby those gears for the first 500 miles and then change the oil. A lot of money went into getting those gears. If it were me, I'd hate chancing getting stuck or pushing it too much going through mud and cause the ring/pinion to mess up.

My shop broke them in for the first 25 miles in increments, then told me not to exceed 50mph until 100 miles, and keep it below 70 for the next 400... All short, stop and go trips. After 500 I changed the diff fluid and replaced with redline diff fluid (think this is what it's called). Then you are good to go.
