Back on topic of the design....
I wonder why the cradle was designed with the tire to be removed from the "inside". In order to put a huge tire on it, you have to open the carrier and hoist the tire on it in the open position. That puts a hell of a lot of stress on the arm and hinge. I don't know why it wouldn't face to the back, so you can put the tire on when latched and closed? That would be a lot more stable IMO... They could put the hi-lift and thin gas cans on the side facing the Jeep then, and it wouldn't look so Sanford and Son.....

Baaaaa.
I love this bumper. The ratchet is a great idea. Less metal on metal is less rattling. Great. A cable lock through it would secure it easily. And for the price its a damn fine looking bumper.

A vendor who isnt a sponsor is not allowed to come on here and defend anything. It says it right in the "rules". As far as I know they cant even create an account if they are a vendor unless they pay for sponsorship.
Personally I like the bumper and am excited to see what else they come up with regarding corners. I dont like the ratchet strap either though.
I do wonder though if a sponsored vendor came on here and made something like this would the mods be coming on here to bash it also? I dont think so. I could be wrong though, and if so feel free to show me a thread where mods have bashed a sponsored vendor (to this extent). If so, I will eat my own words.

well call me a tool if u will. but i'll end up buying one of these. ratchet strap or locking nut, a theif will get it if they want it so thats just gonna happen. thankfully i live where that isn't an issue. i run more of a "outlaw" fender type b/c my state does not care, so it will look a lot better for my jeep than it would someone running full width fender flares. plus functionality beats looks any day of the week, i didn't realize so many ppl had they're jeep in car shows, maybe u guys/gals, should be talking about mothers polish instead

I don't care what bumper you run honestly. This looks like the perfect bumper for you, since you pretty much said you don't care about your jeep looking nice. No worries, your Jeep isn;t gonna be looking nice with that pants potato flopping around on the back.
Call me a sheep, call me names, but at $800 I will just spend another couple bucks and get a rear bumper. Sorry I hurt you guys little feelings. Next time I don't like something I will try to keep it to myself.
