That puts a hell of a lot of stress on the arm and hinge. I don't know why it wouldn't face to the back, so you can put the tire on when latched and closed? That would be a lot more stable IMO... They could put the hi-lift and thin gas cans on the side facing the Jeep then, and it wouldn't look so Sanford and Son.....
Interesting idea, but that tubing is rear end and tailgate protection, i guess it is the rubbing is racing theory. in the baja and other desert racing you tap the guy in front of you to get him to move over??? I would rather have the protection the way it is IMHO

Baaaaa.

I love this bumper. The ratchet is a great idea. Less metal on metal is less rattling. Great. A cable lock through it would secure it easily. And for the price its a damn fine looking bumper.

Personally I like the bumper and am excited to see what else they come up with regarding corners. I dont like the ratchet strap either though.

I do wonder though if a sponsored vendor came on here and made something like this would the mods be coming on here to bash it also? I dont think so. I could be wrong though, and if so feel free to show me a thread where mods have bashed a sponsored vendor (to this extent). If so, I will eat my own words.

feel free to go ahead and call me an idiot for wanting to buy such a "hideous" bumper and putting a big piece of poo on the back of my jeep, but it'll be my poo 500$ can go a long way right now for a lot of ppl. i think it looks great and is functional, and will match the look of the rest of my jeep.

ok. your an idiot. lol. I don't care what bumper you run honestly. This looks like the perfect bumper for you, since you pretty much said you don't care about your jeep looking nice. No worries, your Jeep isn;t gonna be looking nice with that pants potato flopping around on the back.

Call me a sheep, call me names, but at $800 I will just spend another couple bucks and get a rear bumper. Sorry I hurt you guys little feelings. Next time I don't like something I will try to keep it to myself.

this is correct. unless a manufacturer is a sponsor, they are not allowed to participate on this forum - this is in our rules and they exist to help those who have chosen to help keep this place available to guys like you and for free.

since you seem to have missed it, the mods here are volunteers and are free to voice their opinions. being that you have read our rules, i would have expected you to know this already or, maybe you just conveniently forgot about it:

but, i suppose none of this really matters to you as you seem to have it all figured out

this entire thread is completely ridiculous not that I read every page, this is happening all to much

we are ALL supposed to be fellow JEEPERS and this arguing bullshit needs to stop, so what you dont like it and someone else does, so what someone likes it and you dont.....whats next arguing about the line someone took on a trail?

The jeeping and wheeling community including this forum is supposed to be better then this!!!

okay, enough is enough. i have read through this thread and clearly, there are those of you who think this bumper is the best thing since sliced bread and there are those of you of which it just ain't your cup of tea. i think we all got it by now and so i am closing this thread.
