sorry but no...mine are siped and I have to say that I believe tire siping is overated, I noticed no discernable increase in traction, marginal if any...I just have to be honest, keep in mind I live in Edmonton, plenty of black ice out there right now....studding them would have been my better option, but you have to do that before driving on them, and I did not....also don't get me wrong I LOVE these tires, and in deep snow they kick serious a$$

As long as they arent worn too ban you should still be able to stud them,, The stud guns can be had on ebay for under a hundred bucks and the studs vary on quality.. I have studded dirt bike tires in the past and one of these days plan on getting a gun myself..

These look pretty kick ass, I think you may have changed my mind with my tire choice. I just need something that doesn't wear too quickly either, this college thing is killing my finances.

I think Firestone got a bad rap with some questionable lawsuits -- even so, if the M/T is any indication of what they're doing then Firestone definitely in the game.

I got mine from Tire Rack and no tire shop (including NTB & Discount) could touch the price, even when factoring in shipping. Discount gave the best price for mounting with lifetime balance/rotation. They'll even warantee them for a few bucks a tire! Can't beat that!

Roadway tire has them the cheapest. I've had 33x11.50's on since the first 4K miles and have shown them no mercy. Incredible road manners and plenty of river crossings, mud, and snow trails under my Destination's tread with no issues. I'm pretty tough on them in city traffic and highway driving as well.

Oh, and they come in a few variants of the 35 range. I just checked Tire Rack. I'm definitely putting these on in 35 after my 33's wear out.

How much did they take to balance them?

Did you do a static ballance ? = weights only on the back of the wheel

or

Did you do a dynamic ballance? = weights on front and back of the wheel

I may be changing my mind on tire choice soon!

Good question....I just took them to the shop around the corner and said 'mount and balance these' came back a few hours later and it was done....when I asked if it was a pain to balance them buddy said 'bigger tires always are' so....looking on front and back I have weights on both sides, so I'm gonna have to say dynamic balance...no vibes of any kind at any speed so they did a good job and got 'em balanced...sorry I can't give you more
