Just got in my first UPS shipment!! Feels like Christmas. Bought several items for recovery (tow and winch stuff) and a new front bumper. 30 minutes into it and already have bloody knuckles . Time for a tool run for the right size sockets and wrenches. But it's begun! 8 darn bolts are kicking my butt... Where are my tools. Probably good thing my 20year old son is not here. I know I saw him last with that socket wrench. Lol. Not sure I'm ready to tackle a lift project. Need to inventory all my tools before I start.

Yeah, it's easy to bloody some knuckles on the frame rails when yanking those never ending bumper bolts....

I went with the Rugged Ridge XHD modular design bumper. I wanted the factory drive lights and my next choice was almost double the price. I would like to do 3-4" lift "project". Leaning Teraflex although I do have a quote local shop install their suggested lift Rubicon super-flex. Will see.

Well, the front of the bumper where the fairlead mounts is bent inward. Bumper is installed and noticed the bend and thought.. Oh well.. Then started to roll the winch line back on and it will rub the synthetic line... NOT GOOD. Made the comment that it has taken about 3 hours with the issues to install the new bumper but knowing what I know now, can do in probably 45-mins. Didn't know that would come back to bite me. The winch will have to be removed to get out the bend. Requires me to remove bumper to get to the winch bolts. Here we go again.

Wow that's not good. If it is shipping damage I would honestly pull it off and have them send me one that isn't dented. I know you can probably fix it yourself, but the fact that its brand new and you didn't do it would make me want a new one
