I warned you. LOL.

But seriously, that slight improvement is most likely in your head, telling you it must be fast now, 'cause you got Superchips! If you buy into that, then you'll enjoy your new toy. Otherwise, you'll be like me, thinking why on earth did I buy that

PS. Superchips has the gas pedal sensitivity adjustment, which only works on manuals. You can try adjusting that, but that doesn't really make your JK more powerful, just more sensitive.

I agree, if higher hp gain could be obtained Mopar engineers would have figured it out. I hate the feel of drive by wire though, do you know if SprintBooster works? I've only heard good things but I'm holding off on it for now, I'm not convinced it will help.

Wrong. Chrysler is more concerned with economy and reliability than maximum performance and output from these motors

Agreed and I was going to state.

But as far as being more powerful the 87 tune didn't do much. on my way to work this morning I feel the improvement was in 3rd gear, seemed to possibly pull harder. I will see how it does on the freeway until I'm out of gas, fill up with premium and check out the 93 tune. Regardless I used a $150 gift certificate I had towards amazon so it's like I really only paid $130 for it and can still recalibrate for my tires and eventually gears down the road.

All superchips did on my 07 was make it tick and ping a lot.. I was left with the impression that they were a lot more interested small power gains than long term engine reliability..... so it went away.

Vivid doesn't come with a display, but it can be used with an Android tablet.

So you're saying that, that "maybe" performance gain is more important to Jeep drivers than economy and reliability? Would you really rather be replacing your engine, if it indeed shortens its life? Would you really rather have this "maybe" performance gain and pay for premium fuel and lose 2-3 mpg? I just don't think you've thought this through well enough. The reliability issue is maybe just speculation at this point, but loss of mpg is real. To me it makes no sense at all to buy premium fuel and then lose 2-3 mpg on top of it. That's likely extra $100 out of the pocket each month. For that money (given monthly payments) I could get a real performance upgrade, like a turbocharger. Sure, it will still need premium fuel, but at least it won't hurt the mpg, and will give undeniable power.

If you want a display, you need Traildash. But it is also significantly more expensive.
