Default Flomaster 40 series

Anyone here running a Flowmaster 40 series on their jk? This should sound nice and deep on the 3.8 but i'd like to know if anyone has heard it on the it yet? I'm planning on installing one on mine under the seats and cutting the exhaust off just before the stock muffler and have that as the tip. seen a few relocated there and looks like the choice spot, only need to know the stock pipe diameter there if anyone knows so i can order the muffler...

Default flow 40

I had one installed right where the stock one was. It sounds beefy and not "Rappy" like an import! Highly recomend.

I had a 40 series on my Zj.. granted it was the 4.0 ... but I loved it.

I think, if you look, you wont have to cut the pipe to remove the muffler. Mine uses a clamp. I know its a matter of choice.. but there is plenty of room back there in the stock location for the 40 series. Besides... the Flowmaster doubles as it's own skid plate.

The stock diameter is 2.5". Post up some sound clips after install!

How about the Flowmaster 50 series? I was looking at it the other day. I was thinking it would be a little quieter than the 40. Anyone used one?
