Default Flowmaster 80, SI/DO or SI/SO

After hearing all the clips I could possibly find and factoring in prices I think I am going to get the Flowmaster 80 Series muffler. However the installs i have seen around here have all been Single In/Dual Out configurations.

I know our engines perform better with the single out as it gives it more back pressure. that being said would this muffler be a good compromise of performance and sound? . . would the sound change very much?

A single versus dual outlet on a muffler isn't going to affect a damn thing on what kind of backpressure your exhaust achieves under load. And it certainly isn't going to change the sound or performance that you may gain. Promise.

If you like the dual outlet...

im running the duals on mine and never felt any real loss of back pressure...only thing you gotta watch out for is flattening the dual tips on rock...i did both in yesterday.
