Alright I've got $200 in my pocket and nothing to do today. Debating if I should get a cobra 75 or a flowmaster 40 series. What would you do?

 

save up $100 more and get superchip flashpaq... just saying...

 

That would probably be the smart thing to do. But I'm impatient and want something done today before I blow it on a night out.

 

It's a low tech v6 and will always sound like crap so I say Cobra.

 

I have a Flowmaster 40 and I love it. Deep, mellow sound, not obnoxiously loud.

 

i have both a cobra and a flowmaster (44 offroad). go with the cb first. All the exhaust does is make it sound better, maybe even lost an mpg. Exhaust should be one of you last mods in my opinion.

 

So I went to radio shack cause online they sell the cobra 75 so I assumed they carried it in stores but they don't anymore.
So I'm now at the muffler shop getting the 40. I know it shouldn't be at the top of the to-do list but I'm a sucker for some sound. If I didn't spend this cash on my jeep I'd spend it at the bar.
Thanks for the input guys. You all made some valid points. Would have gotten the CB if it was at the store.

 

never the less you will really like your exhaust!! just remember that its will take a few weeks to set in. At first mine sounded OK and i felt like i lost some low end power. after two weeks the power had come back and it sounded fantastic

Lol. Had the 40 on my XJ and Tacoma. My little 4 banger Tacoma used to set off car alarms.
