Default Fog Light Switches Help

I am trying to install switches for KC driving lights and Delta fog lights. I took off the entire center console to get to the dead switches between the 4-way flashers and the ESP button to find out that its not at all like a typical dead switch back there. Does anyone know or have first hand experience with that I'm talking about and have any advice? I want to have both lights on separate side by side switches and I cant drill into the dash at someplace other than the dead switches because the vehicle is leased and will eventually need to go back to stock. Thank you in advance for your help.

Purchase a Daystar switch panel and swap out the lower panel just in front of the shifter. You can replace the original panel before you return the vehicle.

thanks, I may have found a temporary way to do it while I wait for a daystar to come in the mail. Thanks guys. At home depot I found a box shaped sort of thing and decided to use it as a temporary switch box with industrial velcro in the meantime but its definitely not going to look like a prof. install so I'm going to go with the daystar. At least the wires will already be back there and read to go when it comes so I can literally just pop the switches out and put them into the unit and reinstall. Shouldn't take more than 10-15 min.

Default possible solution

Not sure what to tell you. You are correct that there really aren't any "dummy" switches on the front panel next to the hazards. There is a solid electronics panel back there. Since you can't drill into the dash anywhere, I might suggest searching eBay for a wiring harness that is remote control. Best I can think of. I recall seeing wiring harness kits that operated by remote control. Wouldn't be my preference either, but unless you plan to turn in the lights with the switch installed in the dash after your lease is up, this is, IMO your best option as there would be no sign of it if you uninstall it. Good luck.

Edit: did not see the other replies... browser freeze? Anyway, yes, the Cool Tech switch panel would work nicely as well.

So i've decided to go with the Cool Tech because I like the toggles over the rockers... just a preference. Here is what I managed to put together out of random plastic and velcro to hold me over for a week or so until the cool tech piece arrives. It's pretty crude and not very accessible, but it's better than having loose switches hanging out of my console.

Also, since it was brought up. Lighting is the most easily reversible mod I can think of and I'm fairly sure that I can return the vehicle to stock quite perfectly. As for money spent, I can put them on just about any vehicle I have afterwards and the brackets and mounts were fairly cheap but can also be sold off.
