The ats should of came with a bolt to replace the the factory lower track bar bolt. install that and flip the ats to the top of the tie rod. You will have plenty of clearance...

You're very welcome. It is angled a bit at the ends. I have to run out this am, will try later to dig out my stock tr later today and take some comparison measurements for you if you still need them.

Jayvs, I did try the middle two holes and neither of them allowed the tr to clear the ss. Both hit by a smudge when at full right turn. Enough that it would push up the ss and cause stress on the tr mount. Funny as I think it would be fine if I had a 1/8th of an inch or a 1/4 inch more room.

Hey guys same here.i have a rock crawler drag link, both teraflex and synergy stressing stabilizer relocation brackets don't work. They hit the RC drag link. Go to jeep swag. Com they have a relocation bracket that works with the rock crawler drag link. This is probably why Rockcrawler redesigned their new and improved draglink.

Does anyone have the RK3.5 Max Travel and the Fox ATS SS? For now I have it mounted in the stock position, it will do for now but not when wheeling.

Any help or pointers is appreciated.
I have a full synergy front end and RK 3.5 springs. I had the same issue as you with my synergy track bar relo bracket before I realized I had the SS attached to the wrong hole, I had it in the one that was more on the passenger side. My TB bracket (synergy) looks a little different then yours, but the correct hole for the SS is in roughly the same spot. The empty hole in the second picture you posted is where you want to mount the SS. You'll have to move the clamp on the tie rod further down as well to accommodate.

Edit: Re-reading your post, I should mention I did the drag link flip as well... so that might of gave me the room to start.

Paws,

So, I laid a Strait-line (laser level) across the tr to find center of the rod for these measurements. Far from scientific of course, but likely close enough to answer the differences in stock vs Synergy.

The Synergy tr from center of the tr end to center of the tr is 1 5/8" and for stock is 1 1/4". (How far forward tr is from tr ends, center to center.)

Synergy, from bottom of knuckle where the tr end mounts to center of tr is 1 1/8". I would measure the same place on yours for a more accurate measure since my stock tr is laying on the floor but I measured from the lower evidence mark on the tr end shaft to center of rod and it was 1".

So it would seem with these wag measurements, that with the Synergy tr you would yield 1/2" more forward and 1/8" lower tr mounting point for the ats.

Not sure how serious you wheel or your type of terrain but the Synergy tr is a good investment over stock, especially if you wait for a 10% off opportunity. Note that a 4 1/2" wheel bs and 4 3/4" at most is recommended however.

Regarding previous comments on draglink interference, mine has never hit the top of the ATS. I have an old dl with a flip, ymmv.

Try the JKS ss relocation bracket and see if it will move it up a little bit

The rk relocation bracket is welded on. Does the jks attach to it? I've even checked RKs website for a newer track bar relocation bracket and its still the same as mine.

Looks like you have room to use this bolt on SS bracket made by Synergy.
