Unless yours has gone bad and you feel you need to replace it I would say it is a waste of money.

Save your money for a hydro-boost conversion. The stock stabilizer works fine.

Stock is just fine. I do highly recommend relocating it. Especially if you run rocks. The stock location puts a bulls eye on the SS.

That's completely inaccurate. They make a difference regardless. Why does Jeep install from the factory?

Do you need a $400 ats...no.
Stock is fine

If it were a fox ATS for $70 I would buy it. Mostly for the shear fact I'm quick to judge people with them but can honestly say I've never driven a jeep equipped with one. Also for $70 you would be able to get your money back. But I don't believe we're referring to an ATS in this post so it's irrelevant, lol.

I ran one and can say i liked it. I can also say, with a more solid steering setup i needed it less.
I sold it and replaced with a cheap KYB for $60.

I agree. I have the ATS and ran it primarily because I didn't want to upgrade my lower control arms yet and not a fan of the drop brackets. It helped but it was a bandaid fix to the bad caster. Now that I've done rear and front lowers (I went with JKS J-axis), the steering is absolutely solid now.

I'm tempted to pull off the ATS just see how it will run without any stabilizer but will most likely just keep it on.

Kinda what i did but wanted to get some money back for the ATS. I did not run without but turned the knob all the way to 0. No issues so i decided to go with the KYB.
Even on 0 the ATS is firmer then the shock i have now. Comparable to the TF 9550 in firmness.
