Default Freedom Hard Top

I just purchased my Jeep Rubicon 2010. I absolutely love it. I removed the front portion of the Hard top, over the driver and passenger sides. When I drive with those pieces removed I am getting a lot of noise from the back portion of the roof. It seems that the wind is lifting the back portion of the hard top. Is there a way to secure the back portion of the hard top to reduce the noise and movement when the front panels are removed?

I have a 2011 and have never had any issues with the back sounding or seeming to have any movement or vibration when the front portion is off. Did you by chance check to see that all the bolts are tight? Also does it have the bolts on the top above the speakers?

Yeah I would check all your bolts around the inside of the top and also the 2 that mount the top to the top of the roll bar just above the sound bar. I've never had any issues with mine. I would also suggest rolling the rear windows down a little ways of you were driving with them down before.

Agree with above, I also usually run with the back window up too and windows down to allow max air flow and prevent high/low pressure in the cabin.
