Default Freedom Top Rattle

What are the two rectangular, plastic, hinged things at the back of each freedom panel that go near/above the sound bar? Installed top this morning due to rain and they rattled horribly all the way to the office. I reached up and was able to flip one "up" and it quit ratting. No such luck on the other.

I will pull apart tonight and figure it out but if it's an easy fix I'd like to save myself the misery on the commute home if someone knows how to fix. Cant find any reference on them online but think if I pull them off, flip the hinged part up, it shouldnt dangle and rattle. Not sure what purpose these serve other than driving you nuts rattling....

Thanks

Its the black plastic rectangular thing on curved end of freedom top. Finally found on another forum said you fold them down if running freedom tops with no back of the hardtop??! Said it keeps them elevated where they would normally be sitting on the hardtop lip. Never seen anyone run that way. So moral to the story is you have to make sure they are folded up and not flipped open otherwise they dangle and rattle against sound bar. Super annoying!!'

Cant figure out how to attach pic in Garage Talk. I select the pic and green check it but then you cant do anything but back out. Cant add inline. Sheesh its been one of those days! Know how to add pic? Thanks

Well I'll be damned. 4 years and I've never noticed those. My freedom panels spend most their life on top of the hardtop hoisted in the garage, and when they go on they just slide from the lift and in to place. Guess I've never looked at that clip before!

Yeah i keep mine off a lot but went out this am to rain so in a hurry and put them on. After looking tonight one was flipped down, kinda dangling back and forth and it was swaying back and forth hitting sound bar. Just have to make sure folded up and locked inside itself when running hardtop...
