Default Which front body armor ?

Looking at all the pixs and videos a see a huge difference between the rigs here and back home in Germany.
In Germany most JKs have skid plates, armor underneath the bumper.
I donīt see this very often here. Sometimes some armor for the steering (stabilizer).

What kind of armor is really necessary ?
I must admit I like the look of the small plate protecting the steering stabilizer.
Oh and Iīll do the jeep swag relocation the next days.....

But this skid plate doesnīt look to bad either. And as Iīm getting the same bumper in a couple of days........
But like I said why spending 500$ for a skid plate you donīt really need.
There is other stuff more important.

Default skids

you are lucky , you get a diesel jeep , we don't ! what kind of gas mileage do you get? and what kind of h/p and torque? skid plating up front depends on what kind of wheeling you do . If it's only flat dirt roads , it is not as important as rock crawling . Also if you have a Rubicon with the electronic sway bar disconnect , you want that protected . If you don't , you can hit stuff under there lightly without to much damage ! HA HA

Well....... I donīt know about the diesel.......
Average over the last year was 19.3 mpg. Could be 18mpg but often with highway use I get 20 or even 21 mpg.
All with 33" tires and a smal 1.5" lift.
It alss got 200hp and the torque ist around 450 Nm which is something around 330 ft lbs. Torque is nice but there could be something more specially when hitting the throttle.
And the particle filter is a pain in the.......

Yeah itīs a Rubicon. Make sence. First I thought why put expensive and heavy parts on it but doing it once do it right. With the larger plates here everything is protected......
Altought why mainly have sand and mud here. Not so much stones.
And as Iīm not willing to wreck the JK I would be very careful in rocky terrain anyway.

But the additional protection of the sway bar disco is a point.......
Wonder why itīs not so common in the US ? At least I donīt see such large skid plates in the front often in the videos. Like I said I mostly see the small ones for steering stabilizer or even no plates at all in front.
