Default front coil problem

Hey Guys,
I just installed RK 5.5 mid arm kit and I notice that the bump stop inside the driver side coil touches the back of the coil and there is a slight bend to the spring, but on the passenger side the bump stop in almost in the middle of the coil. I didn't notice it before when I had my 2.5 TF BB on, so I unistalled and rechecked the lengths of the adj upper and lower control arms twice to make sure they were equal in length from left to right and they are. I was reading about bent axles in an earlier post. do you think the axle may be bent??? Or maybe a bad coil?? What's the best way to check and verify? on a second note, I heard a popping nose when I go from a dead stop to go. It's only one pop (sound likes it might be from the rear, but hard to tell) and it doesn't happen when I brake to a stop. Any ideas on what to check? I have looked and don't notice anything odd, other than the rear coils both having a pretty noticable bend, but RK said that was normal due to the rear axle moving back
1' and the change in pinion angle...

silly Q, but did you locate the spring properly in the perch? you may need to rotate he spring til it sits in the pocket just right. also, did you try switching the springs (LT to RT), to see if it was the spring? if both springs have a slight bend, then it would likely be something else. have you taken it in for an alignment?

if not, shoot me an email and i'll give you my number since you're in SA. i can get some local JK guys together and we could see if we can figure something out. worse case, we could hang out and have a few beers

yeah. the coils are on the perch right. the is a slot on the bottom that they vey end of the coils bumps into. I did have the alignment done, but I will try to move the coils in the front left to right and see if its the coil itself. I also need to see if i can find someone who can tell if the axle is bent... so when are all of us SA folks getting together for a run????????????

My problem is on the front, and yours on the rear. Have you tried switching thec springs to opposite sides? I did that this am and took mesurements for FT. Found out one spring is almost 1" longer. Switching them for helped a bit.
