I'm flabbergasted on the level of ignorance and immaturity of some display when insulting other people because of what they wish or currently run on their jks. We are all here in the same boat. We're all asked questions before, good or bad. But of-course, there is always that one kid that feels obligated to mess up the information gathering of many to empower themselves. This isn't twitter or Facebook where we need to be stating judgment calls or comments. It's a forum in where questions get answered, period.
I think that the general consensus of those running 37's on moderate to challenging off-road trails, is that to put 37's on a stock JK Dana 30 you will at a minimum need 2"-3" of lift, new rims or wheel spacers, flat fenders and that there is a good chance that the extra force/torque/stress will likely cause serious breakage...

I've never tried 37's on my factory d30. I did a ton of research and went a different route.

Hahaha

I fixed my dilemma with my D30 on my 2012 JKU while my 37's were sitting in the garage by getting a 2014 JKUR. I'm still going to sleeve, C, and truss the front though at a minimum.

Lol, I was just in a spot with my not so reliable 2012 sport and a bunch of new parts sitting in the garage because of the reliability and shitty service I was getting from a local dealer that it felt like the right thing to do. I also haggled with these guys for the Rubi for 3 days and wound up with a real good trade in on the '12 so my payments are about the same with the same length of time.

I thought the Rubicon's d44 wasn't that much stronger than a d30?

D30 is a d44. Just different housing.

The ring and pinion and the axle shafts are substantially stronger and larger.

The tube thickness and the Cs are the only things that are the same from the unit bearing in.
