Another vote for the Coast shafts. Got them from David @ Northridge and love them. Also had some questions and Bill @ Coast was good enough to call me personally and discuss. Can't beat that customer service.

About every 10k miles just disconnect one end of the shaft slide it way down and grease up the inside with synthetic grease. Slide it back together bolt it back up and have a nice day. There are tons of guys driving with no boot at all , not lubing it wit very high miles and no issues.

To help keep from hurting the shaft I cut my skid plate back for clearance and that's it. You really can't do much fo where it hits the trans.

You could shorten your front trackbar slightly to move the front axle a bit to the driver side. I had my 2.5" lift on for 9 month with the stock front trackbar, which had my front axle off center to the driver side a bit. My front driveshaft boot never made contact with the tranny pan with this setup. After I installed an adjustable front trackbar and centered my front axle, I tore my boot the first time offroad, and continued to make contact with the tranny pan until I shortened my front trackbar one turn. Now my front axle is off center only 1mm to the driver side and my front driveshaft is no longer making contact with the tranny pan.

In what ways would you say the coast driveshafts are better than Tom Woods? These are currently my top two choices for when I'm ready, but I haven't decided between the two, so I'd appreciate your opinion. Thanks.
