Default Front LCA bracket

So, I put new wheels and tires (Pro-Mod 17 x 8's and Dunlop Maxx Traction 285/70/17's) on about 1000 miles ago, and I've done light trials but no major rocks and haven't banged anything once. I'm looking under my jeep (4dr Rubi) today and my right LCA bracket on the axle is all bent towards the wheel (sorry, no pics). Can this happen just from putting larger wheels and tires on and driving on trails? I'm having JKS LCA skids put on right now, but jeez. Doesn't seem like this should happen so easily.

bump bump. The bracket looks like it was bent from the control arm or axle moving, not from the bracket bashing on rocks. Is this possible?
