Okay, you go to a dealer with a problem and you have a lift. Dealer says "I'm not even going to touch it, you modified it, get lost."

You say "but the law says..."

The dealer says "So sue me."

You call DC and they say "we can't control individual dealers..translation: haha we have your money get lost."

So what do you do? The law is there, but what can you actuall DO about it?

Sad truth is, this is exactly what I went through with my front axle bracket breaking off. I couldn't dipute the riser bracket for the trac bar, can't afford a lawyer, and it's my daily driver and could'nt have the down time. I didn't let that dealer fix it. I took it to a friends shop. Atleast he appreciated my business.

Well, first off you get a dealer that talks to you like that you tell the right where to go.
Second, whether or not you choose to pursue is your choice.
Third, You could always try different dealerships.

Lastly, you say "we can't control individual dearler..." that is exactly what DC and all other manufacturers do. Especially warranty work. For example, there is a dealer in my town who has not been up to par in a few areas. Well GM is forcing them to sell their business because of this, or shut down.

try another dealer. some are more mod friendly than others. there is one near me that has the reputation for fixing just about anything under warranty, no matter what you have done to your rig.

Ya, I know. But it doesn't make it suck any less. I bet that sucker wont break again! Now it has a supe strong Dynatrac bracket welded in and braced to hell.
