On axle is cracked is there a better aftermarket bracket that can be welded on there to replace stock ones

 

There's a few places that sell aftermarket brackets. Where is it cracked? If it's only the weld tha cracked, you could reweld it on both sides of the bracket to reinforce, both on the inside and outside. Also it's a good idea to get a set of the Offroad Evolution lower control arm mount skid plates. Reinforces the mount by boxing it, and it's 3/16 steel which will take a beating from the rocks and not sustain damge to the mount.

 

Check out rockrawler lower control arm brackets/skid plate. I have been running them for 2 years now and they can take a HELL of ALOT of abuse.

I think currie as well as poly has these brackets. But personally id just get a welder buddy or some guy who'd do it for a case of beer.
