Question Front Quick Disco Kits: RCX or TF or JKS?

So tossing up a poll and want pros/cons, and the good/bad stories if you've got em.

I've got a Rough Country 2.5" lift (sweet by the way). All 3 companies listed have links that are applicable. The RCX is the least expensive by far, with the JKS being more than my entire lift kit was. Anybody know what type of bushings these 3 use - as I imagine that's a big cost. Any of them use rebuildable? Are the greasable style really needed?

RCX: $49.95

TF: $117.99

JKS: $163.99

OR should I just say screw it and make my own pull-pin style that are mentioned on this site and carry a spare set or two?

TF....easy on easy off and store away nice and high out of the way. Plus they are $50 cheaper than the JKS. The one good advantage to JKS is they are adjustable if you go up in lift size.

JKS, built strong and adjustable, very easy to remove and put back on. TF would be my next choice. the RCX just look like a head ache

I was really impressed with the JKS disconnects when I got them as part of my Clayton Offroad suspension kit. I haven't used them in operation, but you can tell the engineering is second to none.

Teraflex, the price is right, they are simple to use and simple to "park" when disconnected. No zip ties or bungies to screw with. The link is one piece as well like the OEM link which theoretically should be stronger and quieter. I used the Teras on my TJ for years and no problems, that's why I got them for the JK.

I got the JKS, but mostly just because that was what was in stock - I still haven't figured out a way of keeping the bar in place detached that i'm super happy with though... as a matter of fact, that's why i'm searching these threads!

I use large nylon wire ties to keep the sway bar in a neutral position.

The UPS guy just dropped off my JKS discos, so I will be installing them tomorrow...what the heck is a caribiner?

Oh yeah.. I knew that! On the same topic when I install the discos how do I get the right length? I am currently running the stock links with a RC 2.5" coil spring lift.
