Great, I ordered the longer ones, so I'll get them on tomorrow...thanks N2

I have the RC's and they are ok. The install was easy enough although I had to drill out the holes to accept the pins they provided. Clearance was a concern from the springs in front (I have the RC 2.5 Coil w/ 2.2) but all seems well after a couple hundred miles now. The are adjustable for 2 to 4" lifts. I have mine set in about a 3" level as that is how much lift I got.

I have not functionally disco'd them yet, just did it to see how it worked. Have yet to figure out my method of securing the sway bar, but always carry bungee's, zip ties and duct tape (if all else fails).

Have the TeraFlex ones. Disconnected and swaybar locked in 20 seconds. It's a NICE setup.

Im fond of my teraflex. can get a little messy rehooking after wheeling but are absolutely solid. Really pays to keep a few cotter pins handy.

My suspension is still stock so I made my own. Didn't like the fact of the clevis pins wearing out so I bought two 1/2" trailer hitch pins at Lowes. I also got two 3/16" linch pins and some 1/2" washers. The hitch pins originally had a big handle on the end but I cut them off so I wouldn't have to worry about them interfering with anything. I tie them up with zip ties when disconnected.

Cut the hitch pins to the needed length, about 3 1/2"s. Had to grind the shafts of the hitch pins a little to fit into the holes on the sway bar rods. Didn't grind the very ends near the heads so they would fit better on the stock bracket on the axle. I also took my time grinding them to not heat the metal up too much so as not to weaken it.

Once they were sized properly put each in place with a washer on the outer end and marked a hole to drill for the linch pin. Can't see these wearing out any time in the near future. Don't have any noise coming from them either that I can hear.

Costs about $13 for parts if you have the tools to do this already. I used a bench grinder, drill press with a vise and a sawz-all to cut the shafts.

Normal warnings in place. Make these at your own risk.

JKS All the way, I got them and I love them, they are easy to remove, and I take them off completely, wrap them up and put them in the glovebox or in my trail bag. Reminds me I have to put them back on, been driving without them for a week

Default Teraflex

I was wanting the JKS but when I needed them, the shop only had the Teraflex in stock for the JK. Which worked out fine, teraflex works great, disconnected in 30 seconds and ready to go!

JKS is definitely quality, though I am leaning toward the Teraflex due to the disconnected mounting position.

My two cents on the DIY is it is not safe. I ran it for a bit (to and from trail). The installed condition is such that under an extreme torque on the sway bar (i.e. an emergency maneuver) a prying action acts on the washers & retaining pin. The material is much weaker than the bolts that came there & could easily shear the retaining pin. That being said, it's a DIY so it's your choice.

For the discos...

I've got a set of TF due for delivery on Monday, but for those with JKS, DIYs, or just plain unbolting the stock ones each time; here's what to do with the sway bar...

I got them too. We noticed the pins don't fit. Drilling 'em out's gonna remove the finish and those puppies are gonna corrode. I wish you'd have called RC, mine might have come properly drilled Any way - we called RC, Ryan said he was shipping new end links.
