Front spring not centered
I have a 3.5" RK front driver side coil spring that I can't seem to get centered in the cup. I've seen a couple posts about it but haven't found any solutions. I'm worried cause it's been making contact with the housing and I can hear it popping when I come to a stop or drive from a stop.
I've already checked my control arm lengths, castor, and track bar centering. I've spun the spring around to see if it centers and it does at 180 degrees but not when seated. I also spun the isolator with no luck. Seems to get worse every time I mess with it.

Odd. I have 3.5" RK springs as well. I can check my CA lengths and snap a pic for comparison tonight (if i can remember). What are your CA lengths and caster angle?

Hmm something I should have written down. From what I remember a few days ago, my fancy radius arms are 29.75 lower and I think 14.25 upper. I'll have to measure my castor again I think I was at 4 degrees. Those are approximates, but I know for sure they matched driver and passenger. The passenger springs sits perfectly centered. Just the driver is way off in the bucket.

This may be a stupid question but is the isolator still present above the coil?

I think I'll try spinning it again maybe spray some lithium grease and spin it. I couldn't tell how much I spun it cause it was clinging to that spring quite a bit. Maybe that's why it seemed to get worse as I messed with it. Can an isolator become so indented by an old spring that it would throw a new spring off that much? I haven't taken the spring completely out yet cause it's a pain to get in and out. I'll try this later. Just some new lift quirks

is your swaybar link bolt hitting the perch? looks pretty close. have some one walk along side and see what is happening when you hit the brakes. if you have a gopro or similar stick it down there.

Just ran out to look at mine. On the backside of that upper perch, I have about 1 fingers width of space between the spring and the metal. It does look a little weird if just glancing at that picture, because the springs don't mount right in the center of the upper when looking from the side. You are dead certain that the isolator is properly positioned? That is the only thing I can thing of is the whole isolator is slid a bit towards the back. What looks odd to me is how close that shock runs, but it's been a long time since I've glanced at something that wasn't outboarded (disregard, i see that is an illusion).
here are a few pics of mine with 3.5" RK springs -
That last pic I tried to take straight on.
