That looks the same as my 3" lift bracket that I am not using because of bump steer. I believe the reason it causes that is by raising the hole up it changes the angle of the track bar. Try it with, try it without, see which way you like it. Mine came off after my first day with it on.
I went with the adj track bar eventually. Was also glad I did after reading Caligirls problem with the rear Axle mounted relocation bracket.

Yes, I still cant get the stain out of my underwear. I was bumping down the road, left, right, left, right. Had to put my brakes on quick and I used the whole lane to do it. I drove like 35mph the rest of that evening and pulled it off the next day. Other issues exagerated the problem like too little caster, too much air in my tires. But it definetly drove better without it.
I do not recommend running just the 2 inch spacers up front without doing the rears as well.
Steering was darty and very unpredictable. I just got done doing the rears this evening and it is handling just as it did stock.
I am still going to get the adjustable track bar for the front though. I just don't know if i trust the quick fix enough to leave it alone.

That's really interesting. I found that my JK tracks better (keeps a strait line) after I did the front spacers. More stable more control. I'm beginning to believe that different JK's have greatly differing rake, and that they drive best when leveled out.
I when by my dealer today and pick up my Mopar front bumper and while I was there I over heard two guys talking about the Full Traction lift and they found that if leave off the track bar relocation bracket it will track better, if you put it on it pulls left. So I ask them they had heard anything about the Skyjacker problems and they said that some dealers and parts houses selling lift kits for 2 door models for the 4 doors models and that doesnt work. I guess there is something different between them. I dont know. my 2 cents
I didn't have a bunch of rake to begin with.. that could have been the problem.
That's it.........I think I'm going to sell my FT 2" BB. After hearing about all these issues I'm just plain scared:sad: I really wanted to do this but it is my DD and I would hate to change the ride..........that was the whole point in just using spacers I didn't want to change the ride.

I think you guys are reading a little too much into this. My ride got better after installing front spacers. Stiffness is not changed, and it tracks better now. Different spacer configurations seem to very depending on the different spring rates of the JK.
Misfit only had issues after he installed only the fronts. He's driving a 2 door, which should be a bit more susceptible to any of these changes.
I don't know of anybody who has installed all of the FT Spacers and is not happy. The $64K question is the track bar relocation bracket. Seems that people are generally better off without it. I'd at least try the install, and see how it goes. You can easily remove the lift.

Guys, don't jump to conclusions. These issues we talk about are minor iconveniences that are all fixable. If you take all the issues on this forum to heart, you wouldn't have even bought the Jeep in the first place. (missing paint, scrathy plastic, thin metal, blah, blah, blah)
That being said, economy and budget lifts do come at a little bit of a price. The proper way to lift a vehicle is to do the full blown ultimate kit with new control arms etc. Then most of these issues are mute. The budget lift is simple and costs $119. If you dont like the ride, take it off and sell it for $60. If the track bar relocation bracket doesn't work for you take it off and go without it. Thats what I did for a couple of months until I got an adjustable track bar. I have heard of guys doing 3" economy lifts and no issues but most have experienced some wandering myself included. I have added upper control arms and the ride is acceptable but I want it perfect. I am adding the lower control arms too so I can fine tune it. My Jeep is my daily driver also, and I am driving it daily. I love the look and feel of my Jeep with lift and wheels/tires and it gets alot of compliments out on the road. I wouldn't go back to stock if you paid me.
The biggest expense in the lift is tires and wheels, drive it a while with your stock ones to see if you like it before putting out the bucks for them. With the BB you are probably doing 33's anyway, and they will fit with no lift as a daily driver. Flexing might cause a few minor rub issues.
Hope I helped ease your minds a little. If you have any questions, just ask
