Derekls you are right i just went out and checked there is absolutely no room to wrap a rubber sheet

I have to think about something else now

The squeaking doesnt bother me to bad, it only is there when I roll at slow speeds

I know I greased the heck out of it when I installed, so if I just leave as is would it hurt anything? As in is the noise an indication of something that is going to happen if I dont clean and regrease, etc

Although next tues (my day off) I plan to reloc the evap can, install a snorkel, put zerk fittings into the track bars, and fix my steering stabilizer ( I know, a busy damn day lol)

a few mud baths don't destroy bushings. it got to be a bad joint.

lots of people have had noise from FT parts. apparently, only the moderators of this forum know how to PROPERLY grease a joint with a zerk fitting.

and you'd better get on the phone with FT, because they don't reply to e-mails.

my Ft ultimate is quiet ,no squeaks ,clunks or anything like that. When we did the install we did greased the heck out of all the bushings with a white lithium grease and i have greased them since just to make sure everything is lubed well.It is diffucult to get to a couple of the zerks for sure.Just make sure they are positioned so you can get to them and things are easier.
Hope your problem goes away soon,i really do feel it is a quality kit .The components are all beefy and well made in my opinion.
good luck

Does anyone have access to the FT Ultimate install instructions. PDFs or can scan them for me? I let a shop put mine on, big mistake. I need to double check a few things if anyone has them. Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks Bly, but I was hoping someone might have the actual instruction from FT. I did use WOLs write up to redo the screw ups on my front end.

WOL takes the manufacturers instructions and eleaberates on them making them easy to follow with plenty of pictures. You wont be missing anything by using his write-ups.

My truck's lift had a sqeak that I could not get rid of for months even though it had a zerk fitting. I pumped tons of grease into that thing about four times before realizing it must be the grease just isn't getting where it needs to be (Obvioulsy ). I always greased it in on my sloped driveway. I had a Eureka moment and reversed the truck into the driveway, greased again, and no more squeak.

Anyway, the moral of my story is that perhaps if the squeak is more noticeable at certain times, you can try to determine how to best lube. For example, when flexed or parked on a slope etc..

I know its not much, but it might be worth considering. I know how irritating it can be.

I think the track bars are really well made but it should have came with a zerk fitting on both front and rear from the factory, should have came like that in my opinion... make life so much easier

Mine only squeaks when I am rolling at a slow speed or taking off.... sometimes when turning right slowly
